Salon Le Mesnil Champagne 2015

From France’s Champagne region, Salon is produced exclusively in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs renowned for its Chardonnay. Founded in the early 20th century by Eugène-Aimé Salon, the house is famous for crafting only blanc de blancs vintage champagnes, released solely in exceptional years. Today, Salon remains one of the rarest and most prestigious names in Champagne, with an uncompromising philosophy of purity and precision.

Wine Description

Golden in colour with glints of silver and green, it shows an exceptionally fine mousse. The bouquet opens with white flowers such as linden and honeysuckle, citrus fruits like lemon and white peach, and subtle chalky minerality. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet elegant, with ripe fruit, creamy texture, and notes of hazelnut, brioche, and beeswax. 

Food Pairing

This Champagne pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as lobster, scallops, or turbot in delicate butter sauces. It also shines with white truffle risotto, roasted chicken, or aged Comté.
