Glen Grant 1952 - 70 Year Old 'Queen's Platinum Jubilee'

An impressive 1952 Glen Grant single malt from Gordon & MacPhail's Private Collection that was matured in a single first-fill sherry butt for 70 years, before being bottled to honour the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 6 February 2022, the date of the Queen's accession. Aromas of beeswax and ripe figs mingle with toffee, orange zest, raisins and aged leather on the nose, complemented by notes of blackberry compote, clementine, milk chocolate, black pepper and a hint of wood smoke throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
